Cheap isn't Always Cheerful!

On my news feed on Facebook at the moment, I have a lot of statuses popping up saying "think I will quit college n be a Tattooist" "off to my mates for a beer n a tattoo" "just got me a tattoo gun ... Who wants a tattoo for a tenner"

It makes me angry and sad that people think its ok to buy a £25 "tattoo kit" (I use this term loosely) from eBay , crack open a bottle of ink and tattoo shit on their friends without even the first thought about health hazards never mind the fact that the tattoo will last a lifetime.

Changing Perceptions on The Swastika

The swastika has been used by people for over 3000 years as a symbol of life and luck, and is still used in many religions and cultures today as a symbol of good luck and prosperity, however, its meaning was corrupted by the nazi regime who used it as a symbol of the Aryan race. Now many people associate the swastika with hitler, racism, cruelty and intolerance.

Tattooists are campaigning to educate people on the original meaning of the swastika and change the bad connotations back to ones of peace and auspiciousness.
